Bare Metal dedicated servers

Choose dedicated physical infrastructure with live availability, transparent configuration and Silurian-managed commercial and support coordination.

Public guideReviewed 2026-08-04

What the service is

A Bare Metal plan reserves a physical server for one customer workload. CPU, memory, storage, network and available options depend on the exact plan and datacenter shown in Silurian's current catalogue. Unlike a VPS, the listed hardware is not shared with unrelated virtual machines at the host level.

Current catalogue and public names

Silurian shows stable public plan names and option aliases while checking the current upstream catalogue, price and datacenter availability. A displayed configuration is not a reservation: it is checked again before order creation and again during reviewed provisioning. Provider product codes, private cost evidence and ordering references remain operational data and are not customer configuration fields.

Configuration and provisioning

Choose one currently offered location and the complete set of required memory, disk, network, IP and other options before adding the server to the cart. Payment never places an unattended infrastructure order. Silurian reviews stock, price, intended use, billing, abuse and compliance evidence, then an authorised operations agent prepares the exact provider order for human approval.

Infrastructure supplier

Silurian provides the commercial service, invoices the customer and coordinates first-line support. The underlying physical infrastructure is operated by OVHcloud and contracted through OVH HISPANO, S.L., calle Alcalá 21, 5ª, 28014 Madrid, Spain. This supplier relationship does not grant the customer access to Silurian's provider account or private purchase references.

Administration and support boundary

The order defines whether Silurian supplies a managed service, delegated server administration or an unmanaged root handover. Hardware and network incidents are escalated by Silurian to the infrastructure operator when required. Application administration, software updates, monitoring, security hardening, migration and recovery are included only when the order says so.

Backups and resilience

RAID, redundant hardware, an SLA and provider backup storage do not by themselves create a tested customer backup. Any included backup capacity must be activated and a backup routine must be configured. Retention, off-server copies, recovery-point targets, recovery-time targets and restoration tests apply only when they are expressly included in the order.

Acceptable use, abuse and compliance

The customer remains responsible for lawful workloads, authorised users, content, credentials and timely response to security or abuse notices. Silurian may investigate, restrict or suspend a service to contain compromise, prohibited activity, non-payment or legal risk. A customer must disclose higher-risk uses before ordering so that network, identity, logging and incident-response requirements can be reviewed.

Prices, tax and renewals

Catalogue amounts are net before applicable tax and use the contract currency selected for the Silurian country. A setup amount, monthly amount and optional items can apply. Renewal uses the commercial terms recorded for the subscription; a future upstream price change does not silently alter an already-created order and is handled through the applicable notice and renewal process.
